Two arrests have been made involving a series of car burglaries that occurred in the Holley by the Sea area. According to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office report, officers spotted Nathan Gifford, 20, and his accomplice Michaela Read, 22, at 4 a.m. Monday in a white vehicle at the Tom Thumb located at Highway 98 and Coral Street, after receiving reports of a suspicious individual breaking into cars.

The event started out featuring events along a countywide route during a couple of weekends each October but gradually became a festival lasting the entire month, highlighting Santa Rosa’s arts & culture, heritage and outdoor venues.
