Panthers have plenty of options when it comes to preying on wildlife. But there are instances when they will target domesticated animals, including pets. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Gov. Rick Scott have announced a 40-day recreational red snapper season in state and federal waters in the Gulf of Mexico. A 24-day season was originally proposed.
