Rachel Wallace founded Ladies Skill Share in January 2023. Now she has hosted several classes, and a large-scale event dedicated to teaching the community homesteading skills.

Ladies Skill Sharing is a women-based group that teaches homesteading skills. The group began because Wallace could see the need to learn and teach the skills that generations before us utilized in their daily lives and sometimes to survive hard times. Wallace believes there is power in knowledge and in wanting to share that with the community she founded Ladies Skill Sharing.

Navarre Beach is one step closer to getting a new beach retail shop.

Santa Rosa County Tourism Development Council convened March 20 to discuss and approve a preliminary budget for FY 2025-26, which runs from Oct. 1, 2025, to Sept. 30, 2026.

The total overall budget for the TDC, which funds Tourism Development Office (TDO) operations, brand marketing for Santa Rosa County and grants for a variety of events throughout the county, is $3,633,563.

At their March meeting, Holley Navarre Water System board of directors approved a contract for GPS tracking units with displays for the course’s new Yamaha cart fleet.
