Benjamin H. West II, Principal of Jay High School, recently stood before the Santa Rosa County School Board to request that the Facilities Naming Committee convene to consider renaming the gymnasium at JHS after one of its longtime coaches.
Coach John C. Smith worked in Santa Rosa County Schools for 40 years, 36 of which were spent as the head basketball coach at JHS.
Meet West Navarre Intermediate School’s Teacher of the Year
Ashley Huggins has been teaching third graders at West Navarre Intermediate School (WNIS) for all 16 years of her career.
