Navarre may soon get a new restaurant. A developer has submitted plans to bring a Chipotle, the popular Mexican food restaurant chain, to Navarre on Mikajack Ave., which is part of the Elevate Navarre development.

The Costa Family of Costa Enterprises McDonald’s has announced their Bluewater Bay and Niceville restaurants will be transferring to new owners, Tim and Stacey Hughes, beginning December 15, 2023.

Attorney General Ashley Moody is taking legal action against two additional solar companies, Vision Solar and SetUp My Solar, for deceiving Floridians. These latest actions come after announcing a suit against MC Solar last month for deceiving hundreds of consumers.

Those looking for steak, shrimp and a fine dining experience will need to look somewhere beside the Grillehouse of Navarre for the next few months. The restaurant, which opened in fall 2022, is set to close until March 1, 2024.

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, a Florida based, family-owned wine and spirits retailer, will open a brand-new location in Navarre on Thursday, November 9, and celebrate the occasion with a big giveaway. The store will be located at 8315 Mikajack Avenue in Navarre.

Attorney General Ashley Moody is taking legal action against a Gulf Coast pool company and its owner for taking large upfront payments from consumers and leaving jobs incomplete. According to an investigation by the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, Cox Pools of the Gulf Coast, LLC, and its owner, Hillary Bello, accepted payments from at least 27 consumers in exchange for pool construction services, then failed to perform the services as promised—leaving consumers with unfi nished pools and holes in backyards.

Over the past 23 years, Santa Rosa County has seen an influx of people to the tune of around 80,000 people. With people comes a workforce, 91,583 as of September (not including military servicemembers). Having a population ready to work is a major selling point for companies when they decide where they want to set up their headquarters, distribution, manufacturing or stores.
