Baptist Hospital celebrates first anniversary at new campus
Baptist Hospital is celebrating its one-year anniversary at its new location at Brent Lane and I-110. The new Baptist Hospital emergency doors opened at 3 a.m. on Sept. 23, 2023, at which time the very first patient arrived. Beginning at 5 a.m. that morning, all patients at the E and Moreno street Legacy campus were safely transported to the new Brent Lane location by noon.

A new development is coming to the corner of Beechwood Drive and Highway 98 in the Tiger Point area. Two buildings are currently planned for the site, in addition to parking for those structures. One building will be built north of the other.

Eye doctor’s office to open near Navarre’s Harvest Village
The former Dollar General, near the west end of Harvest Village, will soon become Bell & Terrezza Optical. The medical office space will comprise of just over half of the total square footage of the building, with a 3,149 square feet portion being put up for lease as retail space.
