A green sea turtle managed to successfully lay her eggs early Tuesday, despite the chaos of being surrounded by beachgoers making noise and taking flash photos of her.

More lifeguards are needed to help keep the crowds of people on Navarre Beach safe. That was the message to the Board of County Commission at the June 15 budget workshop for fiscal year 2022.

Clean-up and renovation of the Turner House along Gulf Boulevard on Navarre Beach continues as planned, although slightly behind schedule.
