Navarre High Athlete of the Week

Addison Maddox has played a key role for the Navarre Raiders during their 2026 season.

Maddox is a four-year varsity player for the Raiders and has played a big role offensively and has played well at the net as a blocker.

A senior leader, Maddox has stepped up in a big way and is one of the reasons the Raiders have already won two more matches than they did all of last season.

She’s made improvements each season and has helped put the Raiders in position to win their first district title in program history.

Navarre High Athlete of the Week

Taylor Netro is a senior standout on this year’s Navarre Raider girls golf team and a co-captain.

And in FCA Tournament last week at A.C. Read in Pensacola, Netro came through with a big performance, tying for eighth overall with teammate Jaya McDonald.

Netro shot a 78 in the 18-hole event to help lead the Raiders to a sixth-place finish.

Netro, who put in work during the offseason, has played golf all four years of high school and has shown this season she has the potential to be one of the better golfers in the area.

Navarre High Athlete of the Week

Peyton Johns is in his first year as a starting quarterback for the Navarre Raiders and has made a strong impression.

He turned in a stellar performance on the road against Niceville on Sept. 11, throwing for 307 yards. He completed 21 of his 36 passes, including two for touchdowns.

Through the first four games, Johns is 76-for-126 for 870 yards. He’s thrown five touchdown passes while rushing for two.

Not only does Johns play football, but he is a standout for the Raider boys lacrosse team as well, playing varsity ball in that sport last year.
