Last week, Julie White, director of the Tourist Development Office (TDC), asked the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to approve a policy that would ban “Fun Runs” on Navarre Beach from March 1 through October 31.
She reasons that the localized events hinder parking and drive time for money paying tourists.
