It had been more than a month since Rachel Hester last pitched in a game, but if there were any signs of rust, she did a phenomenal job of hiding it in last Wednesday night’s Subway All-Star Softball Game.
Hester struck out two batters in the first inning of action, looking as sharp as ever during her time in the circle. She also came through with a big hit in her first at-bat of the night.
