Santa Rosa County, with help from partnering hospitals, has administered more than 11,000 COVID-19 vaccinations so far this month.
“We have another 8,000 on the waitlist still waiting for their first vaccine,” said Brandi Bates, public information officer for the county. “We’re at the mercy of the state as to when they send these to us.”
