800 pounds of fish caught at kayak fishing tournament

The heat index was over 100 degrees last Saturday, but that didn’t stop 99 anglers from launching their kayaks and casting into the Gulf of Mexico hoping to reel in a winner.

A total of 118 fish were caught at the PYGMY 3 by GOAT Offshore Kayak Fishing Tournaments June 18, and the scale weighed in 800.3 pounds of fish.
