In celebration of the 20th Annual Festival, Gulf Coast Regional artists will be featured. Some potters will be exhibiting and selling their one-of-a-kind artwork during the festival.
Additionally, an exhibit “Connected” featuring Gulf Coast Kiln Walk artists is on display at Pensacola State College, Anna Switzer Center from Jan. 13 until March 7. A panel discussion of wood fired pottery, and a reception will be held on Feb. 4, at 5:30 p.m. at the Anna Switzer Lecture Hall (1590).
There is a new addition to this year’s festival. The Navarre Garden Club will have herbs and vegetables for sale.
A limited number of commemorative bowls are available for purchase at $20 each. When a bowl is purchased, you can sample the seafood dishes and chili prepared by the Navarre Garden Club, along with wood fired pizza from Ye Old Brother’s Brewery. All proceeds benefit the Gulf Coast Kiln Walk Society building fund and the Navarre Garden Club.
The public may assist the potters unloading the kiln, if they wish. The event is free and open to the public. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the day.
