Locals and tourists alike appreciate the beautiful scenery of Gulf Islands National Seashore and now they will have even more time to enjoy it while driving between Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach. The National Park Service (NPS) last week reduced the speed limit from 35 mph to 20 mph to protect nesting shorebirds and their newborn chicks.
