Along with the store, the development will bring a fuel canopy and pumps to the site, underground fuel storage tanks, a dumpster pad with an enclosure and a parking lot with associated drive aisles. Additionally, the developer has proposed installing two turn lanes, sidewalks, potable water and sanitary sewer connections, a lift station and a stormwater management system.
The convenience store and fuel pumps are planned to be built on property owned by Santa Rosa County School Board. In June 2024, the school district agreed to a land swap of four acres for 12 acres in addition to the 41 currently owned for possibly building a school on in the future.

The land swap gave convenience store developers direct access to the Edgewood-Highway 98 intersection.
This is the second planned Wawa for the Navarre area. In Nov. 2024, a developer submitted plans to bring a Wawa to east Navarre along Highway 98, near the Whispering Pines neighborhood.
