University, Seashore discuss possible land swap at Naval Oaks
The National Park Service’s Gulf Islands National Seashore (GUIS) and the University of West Florida (UWF) Sept. 30 entered into a five-year cooperative agreement which will temporarily provide available office space and housing to the school.
A mostly undeveloped stretch of national park land comprising the Naval Live Oaks Area flanks U.S. 98 from the eastern edge of the City of Gulf Breeze.
