Union leaders fight to increase teacher pay

Representatives from Santa Rosa Professional Educators (SRPE), the county’s teachers’ union, faced off last week against Santa Rosa County District Schools officials in tense contract negotiations. Tempers flared after a union representative pointed out what he said is a $300,000 miscalculation by the district.
