U.S. Highway 98 drainage system clear; crew seeking other cause of flooding

Motorists navigating U.S. Highway 98 through Navarre during a heavy rainfall have noticed that westbound lanes are underwater near the busy highway’s intersection with Navarre Beach Causeway.

Crews from the Florida Department of Transportation were called out Wednesday morning and went back out on Thursday to investigate after the water receded.
