The British Eatery food truck to serve authentic fish and chips

Mark your calendars now because The British Eatery food truck is parking at Harvest Village Feb. 13 and bringing a taste of the United Kingdom to Navarre.

The British Eatery food truck will be right outside of The British Pedlar next Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. serving authentic fish and chips, battered sausage and other British cuisine.

Make sure to come out the day before Valentine’s Day for a delicious lunch or early dinner with The British Pedlar and The British Eatery’s team.

Last year, British Pedlar owner Michael Blois purchased The British Eatery based out of Panama City. Happy to maintain the business’s British roots and continue to share British culture, Michael bought the English restaurant and food truck combo in July 2020.

The food truck will continue to park at various locations all over the Gulf Coast, stretching from Panama City to Pensacola, serving famous British dishes. The food truck is available to cater events of many kinds and can be booked for weddings.

Michael says he plans to have the food truck parked in front of The British Pedlar in Navarre once every four to six weeks.

The British Eatery seats about 50 people, in normal situations. With COVID-19 restrictions, there will be social distancing among tables and outdoor seating as well.

The recipes maintain their authentic British ingredients and flavor. Some of the scrumptious dishes include shepherd’s pie and bangers and mash, a classic featuring sausage with creamy mashed potatoes topped with onion gravy.

Another popular choice is their many different savory pasties. Some of the pasties include Traditional Cornish – a seasoned and slow roasted beef with potatoes, onions, rutabaga and gravy – and Thai Green Chicken – chicken breast, mixed vegetables, onions, broccoli and cauliflower all cooked with Thai Green Curry sauce.

The British Pedlar is still selling British goods in the Harvest Village Plaza in Navarre. The quaint shop offers authentic British and Irish food and specialty gifts of all kinds. They have a little bit of everything, from a variety of frozen meats and tasty pies to delicious crumpets and sweet chocolate treats.

The British Pedlar also offers an online inventory at BritishPedlar.com, where items can be shipped to the shop or to one’s doorstep.

Michael loves to honor the people who serve their country and offers a 10% discount to all military servicemen, both U.S. and U.K.
