Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, has announced the students achieving the Dean’s List designation for the 2021 spring semester, including Nathaniel Rodriguez of Navarre.
Faith Nicholson spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital last year, unsure of what exactly was wrong with her.
“I was in and out for months. It was bad,” Nicholson said. “They kept testing me. My dad had a feeling it might be COVID, but no one could tell.”
Saylor Marlow has long been driven to excel in the classroom.
She just never imagined that when she stepped foot on the campus of Navarre High School four years ago that becoming the valedictorian of her graduating class was in her future.
Middle schools from all over Santa Rosa County competed in an art show last month and Holley-Navarre Middle School (HNMS) came home with multiple blue ribbons in the drawing and clay sculpture category.
“We had seven students place in the top 25, more than any school in the county!” HNMS art teacher Cara Sayer said.
The artwork was on display at the Douglas A. Dillon Center for the month of April.
