Swenson Park in Tiger Point reopens

The sounds of people, especially children playing, once again reverberate around Swenson Park.

On Monday, Nov. 6, the park, which has been around since the 1960s, celebrated its reopening. Earlier this year, construction began on the park as part of a grant project to update facilities and bring in a new playground.

Colten Wright and Margaret Cunningham were joined by a group of children to cut the ribbon for Swenson Park. Since the beginning of the year, Swenson Park had been remodeling.
