A father and son duo from Colorado is cycling across the Gulf Coast all the way to the Atlantic Ocean supporting the fight against diabetes and stopping to meet with other riders affected by the disease.
Cyclists Brian Friend and his dad Gary stopped at Bob’s Bike Shop in Fort Walton Beach Feb. 24 on their bike ride to raise money for diabetes. Starting their trip in New Orleans, the nearly 600-mile journey will eventually take the father and son to Jacksonville.
