Sheriff’s Office gains 11 furry members

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Copper gave birth to 11 puppies Oct. 28. The litter, which is now about four weeks old, consists of nine males and two female bloodhound puppies.
The 4-week-old puppies spend most of their days huddled up inside their wooden shelter. The shelter has its own heating lamp and plenty of room for all 11 puppies. Photo by Nick Acevedo
