According to Sabrina White, an assistant county administrator, Navarre Library was closed because of a power issue. It had been on three-phase power and FPL had only been able to repair a partial phase until recently. This mainly affected the A/C units at the library.
The Jay, Pace, and Gulf Breeze libraries and Library Administration are open to serve the community.
Milton Library and the Family History & Research Center will remain closed until further notice.
Open Santa Rosa County Libraries will have additional computers available for community members to use as they navigate recovery efforts following the storm. These resources will help residents access important information, complete online forms and connect with recovery assistance.
