Santa Rosa County Sheriff Wendell Hall is fed up. He said he’s tired of his agency serving as a training ground for other local law enforcement agencies, which offer better salaries. Hall said 48 deputies, representing nearly 60,000 hours’ worth of training, have left his agency since 2009.
