Sheriff: Current crime statistics reflect population growth

Population growth has caused the number of reported crimes in Santa Rosa County since Jan. 1 to be slightly higher when compared to the same period last year, Sheriff Bob Johnson told an audience at the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Aug. 11.

In a Navarre Chamber seminar Aug. 11, Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson presented current crime statistics and discussed ways to stay safe at home and at work.
