No charges are being filed against Ronald Bliss of Birmingham Drive in Navarre for killing three dogs. All reports indicate he was protecting his chickens from being attacked by the dogs in his yard.

When Andy Pike opened Auto Depot on Highway 87 south in Navarre in March it was on one of the three lots he was leasing for the business directly in front of Navarre Auto Repair. Pen Air Federal Credit Union’s Director of Marketing Pam Hatt came up with a fun way for the bank’s locations to highlight one of their company’s core values: communerosity: the coming together of community and generosity. Each of their 15 locations plus some of the office staff have decorated a wreath in the theme of a nonprofit organization. They are running a Facebook contest with the wreaths and the organization’s wreath that gets the most votes will win $2,000. The contest urges the community to “Give a Click” and vote for their favorite organization’s wreath.
