FWC fuels fishing fever

Fishing is a big part of Pete Della Ratta’s life. Not only does he enjoy doing it, but he loves educating students about it, whether it’s at various fishing clinics throughout the area in the summer months or taking seventh-graders on a fishing field trip each year.

Save a life, foster a pet

Animal shelters, humane societies and rescues across the country are looking for foster homes for their animals, and the Navarre and Pensacola areas are no exception.  Shelters are overcrowded, leaving some to be euthanized in order to manage the numbers they have.  Social media sites are inundated daily with lost or found pets and some of them end up being turned over to animal control because the owner cannot be located.  That’s where foster homes come in.

All you need is love

Kathleen and Randy are two beautiful, very active children.    Randy is in kindergarten.   He loves animals and playing outside.   He also likes playing with Legos, Sponge Bob and ninja turtles.     Kathleen is a chatty and outgoing little diva.  She loves to dance and sing and be the center of attention.    She loves to have her nails painted, wear dresses and play with her dolls.  She loves babies and is very good with them.   She is very protective of her younger brother.  Kathleen is in the third grade and makes mostly A’s and B’s.   Both of these children thrive on attention.   They love to be hugged and to hold hands.  They will do well in a loving adoptive family where they can have very clear structure, expectations, consistency and lots of undivided attention.    Kathleen was born in February 2007 and Randy was born in February, 2010.
