September 23, 2024 | 5 p.m. The National Hurricane Center released an update on Tropical Cyclone Nine, likely-soon-to-be Hurricane Helene. The storm is now projected to be a major hurricane when it hits land. The storm’s eye is still projected to hit east of Santa Rosa County.
