On Nov. 16 two deputies stopped to help a truck disabled in the front of Circle K on Navarre Parkway. But according to an arrest report, that’s when the truck owner’s luck went from bad to worse.

More than a year later, residents are still living in fear of when the next heavy storm system will flood their home. At this point, they feel it isn’t a matter of ‘if’ but a matter of ‘when.’ The flooding in April 2014 brought an estimated $8.1 million in damage to Santa Rosa County.
Two home security cameras identified a Milton man, Roy Pike, as the principal in a Pace home robbery involving the theft of 26 guns. The burglary was reported on Nov. 4 by the homeowner.
The Raiders cruised to easy wins over district rivals Escambia (8 – 0) and Crestview (9 – 1). Their competition for the week came from Ocean Springs, Miss. Ocean Springs was state runner-up last season. The Raiders fought hard, winning a 3 – 1.
