Restaurants reopen after passing inspections

Two Fort Walton Beach restaurants that were temporarily closed last week by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations (FDBPR) have reopened for business after successfully meeting inspection standards.

Kathy Rohrig’s fourth-graders at West Navarre Primary had achieved their reading goals and to celebrate a “mystery reader” was going to visit the class March 7 and read Dr. Seuss’ “Happy Birthday to You” story. Rohrig had arranged for Whitney Psinas, the mother of 7-year-old Addison, to be the “mystery reader,” however, about two weeks before the event plans changed.
