School district’s Center for Innovation to open March 31

| Staff Reporters

Santa Rosa District Schools has announced the grand opening of the Santa Rosa Center for Innovation, a state-of-the-art facility designed to expand hands-on, career and technical education opportunities for students across the district. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the new center located at 6447 Highway 90, Milton, Florida, 32570.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will begin at 4 p.m., followed by a come-and-go Open House from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Guests are invited to tour the facility, explore modern program spaces, and learn about the innovative training opportunities now available to students.

The Santa Rosa Center for Innovation represents a significant milestone in workforce development for Northwest Florida. The center will provide students with access to industry-focused learning experiences, modern equipment, and real-world training aligned with the region’s high-demand, high-wage career pathways. Through collaboration with local industry partners and educators, students will gain the skills and experience needed to succeed in today’s evolving workforce.

This project was made possible through the support of the Triumph Board, whose approval of a $9 million grant allowed Santa Rosa County District Schools to bring this dynamic career training facility to life.

Parking & Shuttle Information

Parking at the new center is limited. Additional parking will be available at the Santa Rosa County Administrative Offices behind McDonald’s, with a continuous shuttle service running between the off-site parking area and the Center for Innovation throughout the event.

Santa Rosa County District Schools welcomes community partners, local leaders, and stakeholders to join in celebrating this important milestone for the district and the region’s workforce development future.
