Although Republican voters hold a 3-1 edge over Democrats in Santa Rosa, they lost some of that lead this year.
In the biennial updating that state law requires county Elections Supervisor Tappie Villane to do in every odd-numbered year, her staff has moved 4,874 Republicans to “inactive” status, compared with 2,066 Democrats.
The trend in solidly GOP Santa Rosa runs counter to Florida overall.
