Sacred Heart designated ‘Baby-Friendly’ hospital

Local mothers have access to the highest level of breastfeeding support and education available, according to Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola’s latest international recognition as a Baby-Friendly birth facility by Baby-Friendly USA.
Cecilia and Sterling Barnes chose to deliver their first baby, Olive, at Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola because of the hospital’s breastfeeding support and recognition by Baby-Friendly USA. Sacred Heart is now the ninth hospital in the state and Northwest Florida’s only facility to be designated as baby-friendly, an award which recognizes a birthing center’s family-centered approach to maternity care.
