Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy Zoey and Gainesville Police Officer Jet serve two roles in fighting and preventing crime in the community.

Zoey was due for euthanasia, but joined the K-9 unit after being rescued by a group in Texas. Sgt. Lowe uses the drug sniffing K-9 at several area middle and high schools.
