Range police protect, serve range community, mission
Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. — Much like local beach community police prepare for their “busy” season in the summer, the Range police officers prepare for the increased range activity as their “peak” season begins this week.
Ronnie Ard, is a shift supervisor for Eglin Air Force Base’s range police unit. He is a 14-year member of the team with expertise in vehicle accident investigations. Range police members are responsible for the safety and security of Eglin range’s mission, people and environment.
