Raider student athletes honored in Pensacola

The 35th Annual Senior Scholar Athlete Awards Banquet was held May 8 at Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola. The event was sponsored by the Pensacola Sports Association and recognizes senior student athletes in every sport from each high school in Santa Rosa and Escambia counties. Recipients are selected for their athletic accomplishments and community service contributions with an emphasis on academic and scholastic excellence.

Navarre High School senior scholar-athletes were honored May 8 during an annual banquet sponsored by the Pensacola Sports Association. Pictured left to right are Colton Mapoles, Gatlin Casey, Hunter Moorer, Principal Brian Noack, Hannah Lewis, Chandler Moorer, Savannah Rodwell and Howie Walker. Other Navarre students honored but not pictured are included in the story.
