Raider runners get first glimpse of competition

Ivan Bateman started feeling the pain as he ran the first lap of the Dolphin Dash on a hot and humid Thursday afternoon in Gulf Breeze.

“I was in a little bit of pain because I got shin splints,” Bateman said. “The first lap was tough, but after that, the adrenaline kicked in.”
