Property owners eyed to help fund $7.2 million emergency communications upgrade

If commissioners approve a proposed plan to update the county’s antiquated analog emergency communication system, each property owner in Santa Rosa County will be assessed about $10 a year for seven years to help fund the $7.2 million upgrade.
