Owners of The Twist Ice Cream look to add signage, apply for variances
Owners of The Twist Custom Ice Cream, which has called Navarre home for 22 years, are requesting two variances from Santa Rosa County Development Services. The variances are for an increase in allowable wall signage and the reduction of the setback of their property from 50 feet to five feet to accommodate a previously built structure.
The Twist has requested a variance for this mural, which has been deemed a sign by Santa Rosa County Planning and Zoning. The Twist didn’t have proper permitting for the sign at the time it was created.
