If you live anywhere off of Whispering Pines Boulevard, chances are you’ve waved at Paul Sims. For the last 13 years, he was been walking a 4-mile loop from his home to the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 98 and Whispering Pines Boulevard and back. And that’s not just on the days he feels like it either.
