Emily McCallum, a third-grade teacher at Oriole Beach Elementary School, has been officially certified as an Instructional Empowerment (IE) Model of Instruction Demonstration Classroom Teacher.
The certification is a distinguished national honor recognizing excellence in student centered, rigorous instruction. McCallum is one of only two educators nationwide to receive the certification.
