NYC’s Kennedy airport building luxury animal terminal
Jet-setting stallions and high-flying hounds at New York’s Kennedy Airport can look forward to a new luxury terminal that will handle the more than 70,000 animals flying in and out every year.

Kennedy International Airport. The privately owned ARK, as it’s called, will handle the more than 70,000 animals that pass through JFK each year, including dogs, cats, horses, cows, birds, sloths and aardvarks. It will sit on the site of an unused cargo terminal leased from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey that runs the airport.
