‘No kid sleeps on the floor in our town:’ Navarre church partners to build beds
Navarre United Methodist Church sees itself as a partner with the community. As such, the church partners with nonprofit organizations to assist people in many ways, including physical, monetary, emotional, or spiritual help. At times, it’s a little of all those things.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring all children have a bed to sleep on. With the help of local churches and organizations, including Navarre United Methodist Church, the Pensacola Chapter of SHP recently delivered its 800th bed.
