Santa Rosa County Tax Collector Stan Nichols is one of only a few of Florida’s 67 Tax Collectors to earn a special designation for excellence in the field of financial operations. A judging panel named by the Florida Tax Collectors Association performed a detailed review of the Tax Collector’s financial records, practices and use of technology in considering Nichols for the honor.
Santa Rosa County Tax Collector Stan Nichols received the Excellence in Financial Operations Award. Recently re-elected, Nichols has served as tax collector for more than eight years.
