Rip current rescue highlights safety risks on Navarre Beach
Two teenage swimmers were in distress March 31 around 4 p.m. when Navarre Beach lifeguards responded.
The lifeguards rescued the teenagers, who had been caught in a rip current.

The Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is currently reviewing its priorities list for upcoming projects and wants citizen feedback. On Wednesday, April 8, The TPO is hosting two meetings at Gulf Breeze Community Center (800 Shoreline Park Drive) to give people more insight into projects planned for their communities.
