New book details history of Spanish West Florida presidios

The Northwest Florida region has a rich colonial history with the Spanish, French, and British all having occupied parts of the area before the United States even began.

There has been plenty studied and written about the colonial period of this region and a new book seeks to pull all that research together and give proper context to the Spanish era, specifically from 1698 to 1763.
