New waterfront hotel receives Gideons Bibles ahead of opening
Whenever visiting a hotel, it’s not uncommon to open the nightstand drawer and find a Bible laying there. Less common is the knowledge of who put it there.
Ahead of the Nov. 11 opening of Residence Inn Navarre Waterfront, members of the evangelical nonprofit association Gideons International went from room to room, hand delivering bibles.
Mike Householder, a member of Gideons International since 2002, places a Bible in a hotel room.
