New fire station to address needs of Holley area

When Governor Ron DeSantis approved the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, he approved $1.5 million for a new, 7200 square foot fire station and training facility in Holley.

Although the allocation was made during the latest legislative cycle, the Holley-Navarre Fire District has been planning on opening up a fire station in Holley for at least 20 years.

After 40 years working in the fire service, Holley Navarre Fire Chief Ron Norton is retiring. He has spent the past 12 years as HNFD Fire Chief.
