Navarre residents, businesses assess damage after January storm

Although Santa Rosa County faired better than other parts of north Florida, the storm system, known as Winter Storm Finn, left noticeable damage to boardwalks, businesses, churches and other places in the county when it rolled through the Florida Panhandle the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 9
The Navarre Park dock/pier has seen better days. It was damaged during Hurricane Sally and has yet to be repaired or replaced. Santa Rosa County officials say a contract to fix it will be up for bid in the next few weeks.
